Well here we are in the PC '90's,

Well some of us are anyway, groovy baby!

Well this is my disclaimer like, explaining for those who are easily offended, the meaning in the context that I use it of the word "Babes".

Hey Babes,

As an introduction it is not meant in any gender specific way. I do not think that of the half a dozen or so peop people that will visit my site that they will all be female. If they were in some way female, I am not setting out to appeal to them, piss them off or any thing like that. To all the MEN who read this I LOVE YOU BABE.

Hmmm have I ranted enough, I think not, what else have people to say on the matter.

From http://infoplease.lycos.com/

"babe

(bAb),

—n.

1. a baby or child.

2. an innocent or inexperienced person.

3. (usually cap.) Southern U.S.(used, often before the surname, as a familiar name for a boy or man, esp. the youngest of a family.)

4. Slang

a. Sometimes Disparaging and Offensive. A girl or woman, esp. an attractive one.

b. (Sometimes cap.) an affectionate or familiar term of address (sometimes offensive when used to strangers, casual acquaintances, subordinates, etc., esp. by a male to a female).

5. babe in the woods, an innocent, unsuspecting person, esp. one likely to be victimized by others: Some highly informed people are mere babes in the woods where the stock market is concerned. Also, babe in the wood."

Well there you go a one in six chance of "sometimes offensive".

Finally I'll let some one else have the final word, click on the following image and check this out:
